ST. GEORGE, Utah--Apr. 3--Personality, drive and ties to St. George are what it takes to work at Strata Inc., a small but growing computer software firm where shorts, jeans and T-shirts are de rigueur at the office.
"We're really fast and loose and not stodgy," says company president Scott Lovell of the dress policy introduced by brothers Ken and Gary Bringhurst when they started the computer software company in 1988.
Located in a suite at Ancestor Square in St. George, the company specializes in "tools" used by multimedia authors, who technology manager Jeff Fox describes as computer users that employ audio, video and-or text in their work.
