Deutsche Bank announced on Aug. 13 that it has retained former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan as a senior advisor.
The bank said the former Fed chief will provide advice and insight to Deutsche's investment banking team and its clients by sharing his perspective and opinions on a range of issues affecting markets.
"We and every other major investment bank expressed an interest in working with Dr. Greenspan ever since he left the Fed. He has a long-standing relationship with Peter Hooper," Deutsche's chief US economist, according to Deutsche spokesman Ted Meyer.
