Sitting in my tree stand half an hour before day-break, I took my bow off its hanger and drew it to loosen my muscles and make sure everything was working. At half-draw, the bow made a loud whap! and collapsed in my hand. Examining it, I discovered that a cable had slipped off the wheel Great. A perfect hunting morning and I'm holding two limbs and a handle held together with a tangle of string and cable.
