HOLLYWOOD, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- "Tommy Boy" grossed $8,027,843 with 2,165 prints during the film's first weekend in release throughout the United States and Canada, with a per-print average of $3,708, it was announced today by Barry London, vice chairman of the Motion Picture Group/worldwide distribution of Paramount Pictures, a part of the entertainment operations of Viacom Inc.
