Variations on existing designs open sporting clays to everyone.
It was only 10 years ago that Sports Afield was telling readers about the new - to the U.S., at any rate - shotgun game of sporting clays. This year, sporting clays shotgun sales have been so brisk that companies haven't introduced many new designs, in fact, they can't fill all the orders for existing guns, but makers have created variations on popular sporting models.
