Aug. 19--DAVID STEVENS has been named Wachovia's new regional president for the Piedmont Triad. The Fayetteville native will be responsible for leading the bank's broad sales, service and growth strategies, as well as community involvement activities. Stevens will be based in Greensboro. He joined Wachovia in 1981.
W. THOMAS "TOM" WRENN has been named vice president and commercial lending officer for New Century Bank in Dunn. He will be responsible for meeting the lending needs of the bank's business customers.
