Aug. 21--BLOOMINGTON -- Pity the defensive linemen who will spend their fall Saturdays chasing Indiana University's Kellen Lewis.
Linemen like quarterbacks who stand tall and immobile in the pocket, and then have that pocket break down like a Michael Strahan give-me-a-raise-or-I-retire ploy. They want highlight-film hits and game-changing sacks, and that's tough to do against this sophomore.
Lewis is fast and athletic and cool. He's not elusive in the Antwaan Randle El juke-you-out-of-your-socks style, but he can make you miss and buy himself time, and in IU's spread-the-field attack, that's huge.
