PAKISTAN'S ZARAI BANK GIVES US$4.8 MLN TO CULTIVATORS IN 7MONTHS
JHANG - The local branch of the Zarai Taraqqiati Bank (ZTB) has provided loans of Rs. 292,480,000 (US$4.8 million) to cultivators during 7 months (1st January to 31st July 2007) to increase their per acre yield by using modern machinery and technology.
During this period, the outstanding amount of Rs. 318,055,000 was also recovered from debtors.
