Washington - The health care system is being infiltrated by corrupt criminal enterprises in this country, Louis J. Freeh, director of Federal Bureau of Investigation, a Senate committee last week.
"Health care fraud is a very serious crime problem in the 1990's," he testified at a hearing by the Special Committee on Aging. "Today, we s cocaine dealers turning into heal care fraud entrepreneurs.
"The Russian Mafia, as well as other organized crime groups are engaged in creative schemes to siphon money from government and private health care trust funds."
