Aug. 22--Some local colleges have seen increases in the number of Hispanic students enrolled in the past three years, and school officials say that population continues to grow.
"We know our Hispanic (student) population. It's going to be the one that's going to grow faster, and we need to be prepared for that," said Mary Knass, director of Multicultural and International Student Services at Chattanooga State Technical Community College.
