MIDDLEBORO, Mass., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayflower Cooperative Bank (Nasdaq: MFLR) announced today that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire the deposits of the existing Rochester Office of the Sandwich Cooperative Bank. Mayflower Bank plans to operate a new branch at the site of the current Sandwich branch in Rochester after the transaction is concluded. Officials of both banks said there will be no interruption in service to the customers of the branch.
Under the terms of the agreement Mayflower will assume deposits of the Rochester office and acquire related loans and certain other assets, subject to regulatory approval and certain other conditions, ...
