Aug. 23--Black Magic Cake is still on the menu, and the new name of the restaurant that replaced the much-beloved Timothy's on Zion Street in Hartford also begins with a "T," but that's where the similarities end.
The north side of the restaurant that once held booths, a service counter and a diner-type setup of cooking equipment is now the take-out area and an extension of the kitchen. The adjoining room is still a dining room, but the walls are now painted a warm mustard, with forest green wainscoting, and decorated with framed abstract paintings and photographs.
