MATAWAN, N.J. -- PacificHealth Laboratories, Inc. (OTCBB: PHLI), a nutrition technology company, announced the results of a new study that shows the benefits of adding protein to a carbohydrate energy gel.
The protein-containing gel was shown to improve endurance by 13% and decrease post-exercise muscle damage by 40% when compared to a carbohydrate-only gel according to a new study published in the August issue of Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research (JSCR), the official journal of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
