Galaktika, Valio to open dairy plant in Leningrad region in 2008
ST PETERSBURG. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Galaktika, a company formed by Lenoblmoloko, and Finland's Valio will open a dairy plant in Leningrad region next spring that will cost 30 million euros, Gatchinsky Dairy Plant General Director Igor Dyu told reporters Wednesday.
The project will be financed by Galaktika, with loans, and leasing plans, he said.
Valio will supply equipment, technology, and some ingredients.
The plant will process 300 - 400 tonnes of milk a day and produce heat-treated milk, yogurt and desserts under ...
