Czech building orders down 11.5% y/y in Q2, but value increases significantly - statistical office
PRAGUE. AUGUST 23. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The number of new building orders in the Czech Republic was down 11.5% year-on-year (y/y) in the second quarter of 2007, but the value of new orders grew significantly, the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) said Thursday.
"In Q2 2007, observed construction enterprises booked 20,767 new construction orders (down by 11.5% y/y) for a total value of CZK 66.2 bln (down by 6.9 y/y)," the CSU said.
