Aug. 24--The summer concert season isn't easy on independent musicians in Buffalo. There is so much going on in the amphitheaters, large clubs, concert halls and free festival areas that even the most avid supporter of local music is likely to have to make a decision to stay in at least a night or two a week. Whether you believe we get the lineup of music acts we deserve each season or not, it's clear that the "feast or famine" nature of the Buffalo concert and entertainment seasonal structure can leave the original music clubs half-empty during prime business hours.
