Excitement and intense competition characterized the first annual Maintenance Mania National Championship, sponsored by HD Supply, at the 2007 NAA Education Conference & Exposition at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino June 30. But after completing seven events in a room filled with cheering conference attendees, only one team could emerge victorious.
With a time of 5 minutes, 58.51 seconds, that team was Herb Harr and Troy Shelby, Van Rooy Properties, Indianapolis, Indiana Apartment Association. The two men received $1,500 in HD Supply gift cards, a trophy and a giant toolbox, courtesy of Mobile-Shop, for their efforts.
