Over the past 20 years, scientific researchers have documented a pervasive and disturbingly constant rate of sexual victimization on college campuses. Experts in large-scale studies of college students have demonstrated that approximately 15% of college women have experienced a rape since the age of 15, and 20% of women have experienced a rape over the course of their lifetimes.
