Aug. 24--LIMA -- The Nov. 6 general election ballot will include contested races for mayors in Delphos, Beaverdam, Elida, Lafayette and Fort Shawnee and requests for additional money from Lima and Shawnee schools.
The filing deadline for nonpartisan races and issues for the ballot was Thursday.
Several election boards in the state, including in Putnam and Hancock counties, can receive extensions until they can reopen after flooding closed the offices, Ohio Secretary of State spokesman Jeff Ortega said.
