Aug. 25--BLOOMFIELD -- A review of local police activity at a new halfway house shows that there have been only a handful of calls for service to the Community Solutions Inc. Drapelick Center since it opened early this year.
Through the end of July, there were five police calls to the Drapelick Center on Blue Hills Avenue, none of which resulted in arrests, according to the report compiled by Bloomfield police Sgt. Elvis Fabi at the request of the planning and zoning commission.
Those figures, however, do not include residents of the halfway house who were considered escapees after failing to return to the center from work ...
