In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina battered New Orleans. During the next four months, NFL foes battered the New Orleans Saints.
The team was forced out of town, relocating in San Antonio. It played "home" games there, as well as in Baton Rouge, La., and even one in East Rutherford, N.J.
As the distractions piled up, so did the losses. After the Saints wound up 3-13, last in the NFC South, coach Jim Haslett and his staff were dismissed.
