Carey Theil, executive director of the greyhound protection organization Grey2K, raises several interesting points in his op-ed article on the adjacent page. The most intriguing is what's left unsaid: that greyhound racing has become a financial albatross for the tracks that offer it.
The activity has been part of the New Hampshire gambling landscape for some 35 years--it started in 1972 at Hinsdale.
