Aug. 27--Abandoned buildings. Overgrown parks. Missing street signs. Fix It readers have seen it all.
While we're happy to report that many problems featured in Fix It have been fixed -- and very often in a timely manner -- others, whether due to lack of funds or bureaucratic red tape, take longer. Some don't get fixed at all.
This week we would like to focus on both: a neighborhood park that is now a welcome spot for children to enjoy and a former gas station that is still a problem for the South Buffalo neighborhood it sits in. The good news first.
