Russian mobile content market tipped to grow 20% in 2007

MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Russia's mobile content market could grow 20% to $420 million in 2007, but it will not really take off until 3G networks are rolled out, the Finam investment holding said, quoting figures unveiled a conference on the state and outlook for the mobile content market.

The conference heard that the market in Russia has good growth potential, however this is limited by low interest in additional services provided by mobile communications firms.
