While the Blue Bulls wait to hear the fate of Springbok flanker Pierre Spies, there was much fanfare and enthusiasm at their training ground yesterday with the return of a number of players from injury.
Blue Bulls coach Pote Human had pinned his hopes of beating Griqualand West this week on the return of Spies, but after SA Rugby put a halt to the No 8's return, Human still managed a smile from the availability of prop Richard Bands, flank Hilton Lobberts, lock Wilhelm Steenkamp and winger Trompie Nontshinga.
