Aug. 27--WHITEHALL -- Sometimes Tara Mastel has to pinch herself, just to make sure her dream job and life here are real.
She started as the Jefferson County economic development extension agent 18 months ago and also manages the Jefferson Local Development Corporation.
Mastel said she couldn't be happier.
When she was growing up in Wolf Point, many friends thought she'd seek the big city, she said.
Well, she did that, working for a major advertising firm.
Her accounts included Samuel Adams beer and "high-end recreational toys," such as Harley Davidson, Schwinn bikes and Polaris.
