Aug. 29--For Mandy Canistelle, a raw food diet helped her overcome multiple health problems and restored the energy she'd once taken for granted as a professional dancer. Now, the mother of five is spreading the word about the benefits of eating fresh, "living" foods.
She has taught raw food classes in her Edmond home for two years. Next month, she will begin her fall classes, demonstrations, children's classes and certification training for others who want to get into the raw food movement.
