Aug. 29--Two women were found dead inside city homes this morning, one the victim of a shooting, the other of a stabbing, police said.
The homicides raise the city's total for the year to 275.
About 7:45 a.m., a 28-year-old was found shot in the chest in the 500 block of Hill Creek Drive in the city's Crescentville section.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for a man, in his late 20s, who was seen fleeing the scene. He was described as possibly Hispanic, about 5-foot-5, and wearing all blue -- baseball cap, T-shirt and pants.
