Aug. 29--BioCord Ltd., which has developed software for managing cord blood stem cell banks, has filed a libel suit for NIS 500,000 with the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court against Hebrew daily "Ha'aretz" over an article published in the paper's financial supplement "TheMarker." The article, entitled "Where do they keep your cord blood?" alleged that BioCord was not properly handling blood donations it had received. The lawsuit has named as "Ha'aretz" publisher Schocken Group Ltd., and the editorial team at "TheMarker" as respondents.
