Drinkers in Nigeria have developed a taste for Guinness and are now knocking back more of the 'black stuff' than their counterparts in Ireland, the brew's traditional heartland.
Diageo, the company which owns the Guinness operation, said Nigeria had now overtaken Ireland as the world's leading consumer and admitted that the brand was suffering in its traditional home market.
