MySpace.cn cuts loose from global servers

By Rita Shen Shanghai. August 31. INTERFAX-CHINA - MySpace.cn began setting up independent servers in China on Wednesday night in order to separate its system from the global MySpace.com network, a top MySpace.cn official told Interfax today.

"The size and complexity of this separation is unprecedented in China," Luo Chuan, MySpace.cn's chief executive officer, said. "There are two reasons. Firstly, having servers in China will enhance our site's connection speed.
