Residents of the Harrison House high-rise apartment building in downtown Syracuse are no longer facing a possible power shutoff Tuesday.
National Grid had given notice that the power could be turned off as of Tuesday for the building owner's nonpayment of its bill.
Now the building is no longer subject to the shutoff Tuesday, utility spokesman Alberto Bianchetti said. He said the utility is in discussions with the Empire State Development Corp., a state agency, and with others, to resolve the situation.
