CHICAGO _ The national gnashing of teeth over Ozzie Guillen's recent outbursts and the weeping over our subsequent loss of innocence has been very entertaining. What is this, team coverage of "Diana, 10 Years Later?"
One upset radio host said he didn't see how the White Sox could have Guillen back as manager next season. A few distressed guests on a TV show were shocked that a man could let loose with such a geyser of expletives and still be employed.
We in Chicago saw it as Ozzie clearing his throat again.
This is what happens when distance meets ignorance. These people don't know Guillen. They don't know ...
