WORCESTER - Alana DiPesa and her friends, all College of the Holy Cross juniors, have always wanted to try food from the restaurants on Shrewsbury Street.
"We had a goal to eat at each place at least once," said Ms. DiPesa, 19. "We just didn't have the time or the money during the school year."
Yesterday, Ms. DiPesa and 1,500 other students from the 13 Worcester Consortium schools took advantage of the first Shrewsbury Street College Shuffle.
For $10, students could sample the cuisine at many restaurants on the popular strip - from the ravioli at Mac's Diner, to sushi at Zipango Sushi Bar & Grill, to gelato at ...
