It's midnight in Costa Rica, a country in Central America. A rocky mountainside gleams silver in the light of a full moon. The mouth of a cave looks like a black stain on the rocky slope.
Inside the cave, a dozen vampire bats hang by their toes from the stone walls. They're hungry! But vampires almost never hunt when the moon is bright - owls and other enemies might see them and gobble them up. So this bunch of bats is waiting for the moon to set.
