LOS ANGELES--Exotic food combinations have long been a staple of California cuisine. Now they're being used as ingredients in the Philip B. Black Label Botanical Collection of bath, body and hair care products, introduced in December throughout the Neiman Marcus chain and unveiled at Bergdorf Goodman on April 1.
Black Label will benefit from a major push at Neiman's in the fall, according to the company. The 12-item line, priced from $16 for Nail and Cuticle Creme with calendula and evening primrose extracts, to $66 for a 4-oz. Cucumber and Lotus Breast Enhancing Creme, is expected to do close to $1 million in its first year.
