Edmundo Castillo has a problem.
"I have a real sneaker addiction," Sergio Rossi's top designer admits.
Castillo began seriously collecting kicks about 10 years ago and has now amassed a stockpile worth thousands of dollars, including more than 400 pairs of Nikes, Vans, Adidas, Pumas and Bathing Apes. He splits them between his Milan home, where he keeps about 250 pairs, and storage in New York.
Always on the hunt, Castillo invited Footwear News to tag along as he spent a recent afternoon shopping his favorite sneaker haunts in downtown New York. His first stop: Classic Kicks on Elizabeth Street. Inside, Castillo ...
