"The links" takes on several meanings to Mark Caron, director of networking and personal computing for Health-source, Inc., Hookset, N.H. To sports-fans, "the links" means golf - one of Caron's favorite pastimes. To networking gurus - often dubbed wire-heads - "the links" make or break the network.
