Hungarian state-railways MAV calls tender for 25 locomotives for estimated HUF 20 bln
BUDAPEST. SEPTEMBER 4. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian state railways MAV has announced a public tender for the acquisition of 25 electric locomotives, according to the company's call for tender published in the public procurement supplement of the Official Journal of the European Union.
MAV intends to acquire electric locomotives using bank loans, while the company expects them to be delivered within 30 months. The total value of the purchase may reach an estimated HUF 20 bln, Hungarian news portal mfor.hu reported Tuesday.
