MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1995--Disk drive arrays have become a major part of the data storage industry. According to DISK/TREND's new market study on disk drive arrays, known by many under the RAID acronym due to generous publicity since the beginning of the 1990's, worldwide sales revenues will exceed $7.7 billion in 1995, as the result of shipment of more than 565,000 arrays.
