Sep. 5--'It's such a study in contrasts," Katie Couric said of Iraq by phone Tuesday from CBS News' Baghdad bureau. "You have these completely obliterated buildings and then, from the air, you see these swimming pools with people in it or an amusement park."
And, one wonders from the safety of a U.S. newsroom, what exactly constitutes a thrill ride in Iraq these days?
"That's an excellent question," Couric said. "This is just something I saw from the air, something that was pointed out to me by Gen. Petraeus."
