Sep. 5--Thunderstorms, rain and much cooler temperatures are on the way for Southern Arizona today and Thursday as the weakening Hurricane Henriette is pushing moisture north into the region.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent chance of rain in the Tucson area today, rising to a 50 percent chance Thursday, with heavy rainfall producing 1 to 2 inches.
