MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Trident Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRID) today announced record sales for the third quarter of fiscal 1995 of $29,801,000 compared to $26,830,000 for the prior quarter and $19,374,000 for the third quarter of the prior fiscal year. Net income for the third quarter was $3,414,000 or $0.26 per share compared to $1,652,000 or $0.13 per share for the prior quarter and net income of $726,000 or $0.06 per share for the third quarter of the prior fiscal year.
