The Task Force on Nurse Workforce and Patient Care was created by Executive Order signed by Governor Ritter on March 29, 2007. The Task Force is charged with developing standards and processes for measurement and disclosure of nurse's contributions to the quality of care in licensed health care facilities. The Task Force will primarily focus on the hospital setting. The Task Force will also evaluate the environment of nursing practice in Colorado.
