Alstom to sell high-speed trains worth EUR 120Mln to Russian-Finnish JV (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - France's Alston and Oy Karelian Trains Limited signed a 120 million euro contract on Wednesday in Helsinki for the delivery of four high-speed passenger trains for the St. Petersburg -Helsinki line, a report issued by Russian Railways (RTS: RZHD) says.

Karelian Trains is a joint venture between Russian Railways and Finland VR Limited established in 2006 for the acquisition of high-speed trains for the St. Petersburg - Helsinki line and for maintenance services for the rolling stock.
