Sep. 6--ALIQUIPPA -- On one hand: A group of cautiously optimistic politicians who think Aliquippa Community Hospital can be saved.
On the other: A mortgage foreclosure lawsuit that cites a single, startling number -- the hospital is at least $20 million in debt.
Members of the troubled hospital's board met with city, county and state officials Wednesday to try to sort out the possibilities for the hospital's future, which includes what may be the hospital's biggest financial crisis of its 50-year history.
