Sep. 7--A serious auto accident in Argentina finally put an end to Roberto Duran's legendary 33-year boxing career in 2002.
But it never affected his ability to entertain.
Upon being introduced as the honored guest for tonight's Desert Diamond Casino boxing card during the official weigh-in Thursday, Duran quickly made his stage presence obvious.
He grabbed the microphone and began talking animatedly in Spanish and English, to the delight of the primarily Hispanic crowd in attendance.
"It's me!" Duran said. "A Soy yo!"
