Sep. 7--The 13-year-old cricket player's parents found it odd when their son insisted last month that they transfer him out of his boarding school in Jamaica.
He had just come off a year of playing for an internationally renowned cricket coach, and was traveling with the coach and his teammates to Connecticut, New Jersey and Trinidad. Yet he was willing to give up the opportunity to play world-class cricket.
