Alta M Dunning
July 31, 1924 -- Aug. 31, 2007
Alta M Dunning, 83, Kokomo, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at her home. She was born July 31,1924, in Buck Lodge, Tenn., the daughter of Lester W. and Mary Katherine (White) Bandy. On Nov. 8, 1947, in Franklin, Ky., she married C. Paul Dunning, who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1992.
She was employed at the Kokomo Bargain Center for 32 years, retiring in 2001. Alta was a modest woman who quilted, sewed, gardened and enjoyed a good book. She loved and lived for her family.
