Sep. 8--A local advisory panel is once more weighing in against a residential subdivision on the grounds of the Rodeo Swim Club.
Danville-based New California Properties wants to build the 17-home Laurel Court Estates on part of the approximately 4-acre site; a new pool and clubhouse are supposed to be built later but are not part of the subdivision application. The swim club filed an application June 14 for a new swim facility, but it has not yet been deemed complete, said Contra Costa Community Development Department Principal Planner Patrick Roche.
